About Me
P. J. Whitehead of San Angelo A California native, PJ became a resident of Texas in 1977 and has lived in San Angelo since 1989. Her interest in painting was sparked by watching "The Joy of Painting" a television program, artist Bob Ross, teaching landscape painting with oils. Now she continues her studies with local and area wide artists. PJ is a member of the San Angelo Art Club and has won several awards for oil paintings. Watercolor is now her new passion which has already earned her award ribbons and the title, "Artist of the Year - 2008" with the Kendall Art Gallery. Welcome PJ! It was fun meeting you at the Big Country Art Show. Hope you can make the meeting in January as Carolyn is demostrating a technical way to paint with watercolors that is fun and liberating.
